Gastgeber Peter ist an Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit nicht zu überbieten. Er hat mit viel Stil und Geschmack ein traumhaft schönes Ambiente geschaffen. Mögen ihm allzeit Gäste beschieden sein, die deren Wert zu schätzen wissen und behutsam mit allem umgehen.
Cette maison d’hôte est vraiment exceptionnelle. L’accueil, le sens du détail, l’attention de chaque instant.
Peter est un hôte formidable, qui aime beaucoup ce qu’il fait. Le degré d’exigence et d’excellence dans le service et la décoration est au niveau d’un Relais & Châtaux – voire au delà. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux. C’est un endroit un peu magique. Le fait d’être a +- 10 minutes à pied de la Grande Place, permet d’être très au calme. Encore bravo et un grand merci pour ce séjour… Impérial !
Besides the outstanding service, the rooms and bathrooms are exceptionally maintained with all amenities of the highest quality. Even the breakfast is far beyond the level of any guesthouse or B&B, I have ever stayed at. The host certainly has passion for what he does
and that is reflected in every element of the place.
A perfect stay from beginning to end. Everything in the hotel is immaculate and the attention to detail superb. The hotel is perfectly located on the outer ring of historical Brugge, meaning that it is easy to acces an park, but also within walking distance of everything you would want to see. Guests essentially get a suite for a similar price to a room in an equivalent standard hotel. The breakfast was excellent and very personal.
This is definitely one of the best ( possibly THE best) hotels I have stayed in. If you are looking for a hotel with bars,restaurants,pools,gyms,etc. this is not for you but if you are looking for a personal touch surrounded by luxury then I can highly recommend it.

Vooral de kamer was prachtig en tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Zeker een aanrader.

Imagine staying at an aristocratic mansion where everything is very luxurious, spacious and with a great atmosphere. This should have 5*+. And it is the whole experience that makes it even more unique with Peter the owner making everything easy for you. From a great breakfast, to booking for you at the best places in the city. We have been to some of the best and expensive hotels globally and we cannot recommend this enough. Everything was just great!!!
To echo the sentiments of all of the other reviews, this place is absolutely perfect from start to finish. Peter welcomed us into his beautiful home, and was the perfect host throughout our stay, helping with restaurant reservations before our arrival to ensuring we saw Bruges in the best possible way.
Fabulous B and B. I felt like a Countess in such beautiful surroundings. I loved the position which is a 10 minute stroll to the city centre but away from the noise just on the inside edge of the old town, perfect. I felt I lived in Bruges and this was my house.
From the first moment we arrived, Peter who runs this beautiful hotel was the consummate host. He was knowledgeable about the building that he and his partner had created and made us feel at home immediately. Our suite at the back of the property on the top floor had beautiful views of Bruges and proved a very happy place for us to pass time.

La maison est rénovée et décorée avec un goût exceptionnel, qui reflète l’histoire de la Belgique et la passion des antiquités. Les suites sont luxueuses et leur ambiance feutrée et chaude vous plonge dans un univers insolite du 19ème siècle.
Si il y a une maison d’hôtes où il faut se poser à Bruges c’est ici et nulle part ailleurs ! En ce lieu, tout est en symbiose parfaite…Un luxe sans aucune ostentation.Un calme apaisant. Une volupté qui mettra tous vos sens en éveil. La décoration est raffinée, pensée dans le moindre détail. Peter vous accueillera avec le plus grand soin. Il veillera à votre bien être en toute discrétion, vous concoctera de délicieux petits déjeuners. Vous le quitterez, ainsi que sa maison, avec beaucoup de regrets mais avec ce plaisir immense d’avoir vécu 3 jours d’exception. Nous conseillons vivement et assurément cette “grande maison” où aucune déception n’altèrera votre séjour.
Je recommande sans hésiter cet établissement, tenu par quelqu’un de charmant. Les chambres sont royales. Le feu ouvert et le mobilier rendent ce lieu exceptionnel. Sans parler du petit déjeuner, fraichement préparé, frais et copieux!
